WHAT IS THE IN3+ AWARD?
Since 2016, the Portuguese Mint and Official Printing Office (INCM) – awards the best ideas and projects of its innovation network, currently integrating the main universities and research centers, namely in the areas of production and materials technologies, nanotechnology, ICT, robotics and automation, with the contribution of hundreds of national and international researchers.
After two editions in which six projects have been recognised, in areas such as Industry 4.0, New Materials or New Business Models, which are already under development, it now acquires a new identity, with a focus on the future: IN3+. + INNOVATION. + INVESTIGATION. + INCM.
The current context of the country and the world takes on a new weight for investment in research and innovation in which our award is supported. At a time when the Portuguese routine is slowly starting to return to normal, we want to give the possibility to support the development not only of the ideas already submitted, but also of those that were interrupted due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Aware of the limitations that many of our candidates are facing in developing their proposals for the IN3+ Award, we made the decision to extend the application deadline, to a new date to be announced soon.
By rewarding the winning ideas through realization and incorporation into its offering, INCM bridges the gap between academic research and the industrial and business context.
